1. Suspect shot and then put the guy in the car and locked door .

2. You havn't mentioned if other guy is inside the car so the guy has not escaped.

3. A boobie trap thing where he set up an external trigger set to the trigger on the gun with the gun facing the victim et etc

4. Guy is himself he has that thing where one min he's one guy and the next hes another- multiple personality I think its called.

There are many posibilities which is yours? Your obviously looking for a specific one.

Convertible is a good answer and a suspect could have been in the car with him, shot him, opened the door, locked it and then closed it.

But, if you are in fact being a smartass, the answer to your exact question, "How did the suspect kill this man?", is - the suspect shot the man.

It probably was a hitchhiker. He just got in & shot him, locked the door & left. Also they could have shot him somewhere else & locked him in the car later. He couldn't kill himself because you said by another person.

Well, you could argue that the bullet that struck his head, got lodged inside it without coming out the other side.

There would be no bullet holes, but there would be a lot of blood.

Also, you could say that the suspect was a policeman, and that he simply disposed of the body.

It's unethical, but it's possible.

The car is either a convertible, or it was a normal car, & the sunroof was open, so he was shot through that.
