Q. You are the bus driver and 3 people come into the bus and sit down. After the first stop 1 person leaves the bus while 10 more people come on aboard. Two stops later 5 people leaves the bus. And then on the next stop 50 more people come in and sit down. After 8 stops 3 more come in while 1 leaves. How many people are there on the bus?

60 3-1+10-5+50+3-1=59+ 1(the bus driver)=60

the first passenger leaves the bus at stop one
the only person on the bus before stop one is the driver
therefore the driver must have gotten off the bus
therefore the rest is irrelevent
