No, the nature of an idea cannot ever be knowable. those who have faith in God BELIEVE they understand the nature, but that DOES NOT make it true. If it did, then God would be required to be changing constantly, and completely different constantly and simulaneously. This makes no sense. We don't know anything about a God, if one exists, or if one does not exist. We know nothing more than what we hear, see, touch, and taste. Anything else is a pure speculation.

The nature of God is not currently known. Thus, we do not know whether God is something that can eventually be knowable, or never knowable. We also, thus, have no real concrete definition for what would constitute a god and what would not. Within some definitions God could *literally* be a human being with a very high level of technology. Perhaps God is an unconscious force. Perhaps God is malicious. Without knowing the nature God, we don't really know what we're looking for, if there is anything to look for at all.

Sure. Because everyone knows the truth, it's just been covered with years of "beliefs". Most people think "moral" laws {ha ha} are the laws of God. They are laws made for society by the "tribal leaders. If anyone has ever known love & bliss for no reason, this is very, very close to the nature of God/Goddess, and very, very close to there own nature. And if one could be in this "state" there would be no need for tribal laws to protect the tribe. In fact there would be no need for the tribe. This would also mean that everyone would be the same, none richer or poorer. So most people will not experience there true self however because of greed. Religion is a block to the Spiritual experience.

Of course the nature of God is knowable. The whole point of "god" and religion is to gain something of social, economic, personal or political value without any realistic amount of effort.
When clergymen of the past wanted financial offerings, they invented indulgences which traded forgiveness for money and also made it a sin not to give less than 15% of a person's earnings as a tithe. When the preachers of the present want forgiveness for pedophilic transgressions, they turn to their respective god, because getting other people to forgive them takes too much effort. If a political figure wants a measure pass, they invoke the objective morality within the religion to attack the opposing political views. When a person wants to avoid the inevitability of their own mortality, they merely say "I believe my god will let me live forever". If a person doesn't want to wait for science to explain something, they merely say "My god did it".
The main course of obtaining these requests is through prayer to these gods. Prayer, like any other form of magic, is the invocation of supernaturally-based political figures for the purpose of controlling outside forces. The more that is riding on the success of the spell in question, the more likely a person will be willing to accept superstition as a substitute for rationality. This is why you hear the phrase "there are no atheists in foxholes". Its the same thing when professional athletes attempt to invoke "good luck" by preforming special personalized rituals in return for a better performance.
Yes, the nature of god is knowable. Its anti-social irresponsibility designed to obtain that which people are too weak to obtain through their own merits or through the merits of a responsible and reasonable society.

Yes, the nature of God is very knowable. Christ came to this world and made a way for mankind to reach God. When you accept Christ and He is Lord of your life all you have to do is ask to know Him. Read the Bible and God will draw near to you. Its what He promised. If you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you.

If you want to know the nature of God, just follow these simple steps. Repent of your sins, be baptized (by immersion)in the name of Jesus, and all of your sins will be forgiven. You will have a newness of life. Then God will give you a portion of His Spirit with the evience of speaking in an unknown language. And do you know what we can do with that? In His name we can cast out devils, we can heal the sick, the blind can see, the deaf can hear!! Now that is power with authority!! How cool is that!!
Also, with His Spirit, we get to know Him on a personal level and that is the best news yet.

He is not knowable to one that refers to Him as a goddess. Only the Holy Spirit can allow you to know Him and apparently He hasn't.

To a certain extent. What God wants us to know about him can be found in his genuine creation, nature. If it cannot be known from nature then he probably didn't want us to know about it. Revealed texts tell us very little about the nature of God since they are not creations of God.

think about your best friend... in a given situation do you know what they would do? If you know God .. you know his will... you also can know his nature by knowing and studying who He is...
Thats really the only way to know...
The nature of God is inherently good... in all cultures, across all boundaries... to do good is what people strive for... some people use religion as a way to feel better about themselves... others adapt their lives to religion to try and make others feel better
