ok, my boyfriend is in basic training for the army reserves, and since he's been gone ive written him a little bit every day(while waiting for the address) well...yesterday i got the address and put what i had written him in the mail asap. well i just went and checked the mail again and i had another letter from him..and in it it says to write in green if possible...well the letter i just sent was not in green...does that mean they wont give it to him?...pleeease help

They will give it to him, don't worry. My good friend is in the military, and I always write him in black or blue.

He may be afraid that one of his superiors or bunkmates may be trying to read his mail through the envelope. Green is harder to read through envelopes than darker colors, like black, blue, or red.

Write your next one in green, but ask him why you're doing so.

They'll give it to him. Green, is just the color he prefers. Give your letter time. It will catch up with him. Write another one in green even if it is repetitive. God bless you and the soldier. For encouragement, listen to ttb.org.

I doubt it means they're holding the mail. Maybe green is easier for him to read?

Yes, they will give him his mail. Ask him why he wants green ink. It may be just so he can spot your letters easier.

I don't understand why !!! it is the color the problem...you can write another letter.
