For a start prozac in the water is in small traces only, and if anything it would lead to an elevation in mood. The biggest thing to worry about in the water cycle is oestrogen from the contraceptive pill, as lots of scientists believe that this is leading to the decrease in fertility rates.

No, Prozac won't make un-depressed people depressed... but Prozac is just ONE of the drugs in our water. Check out this article on WebMD... http://www.webmd.com/content/article/92/101794.htm
They say it's at low levels, but they have found numerous chemicals in our water like antibiotics, hormones, detergents, plasticizers, insecticides, fire retardants, steroids, insect repellants, disinfectants, etc.
As for Prozac though, I unfortunately took it for a short time years ago, stopped suddenly and the withdrawl was horrible!! Now, I don't want to injest even a small amount.

The concentration of prozac in the drinking water would be far too low to affect anyone, so I don't think it makes much difference.
