Is this evidence against evolution:

"One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it. [emphasis added]"

You have heard, perhaps, of our star, which we call the Sun!

I would say so. The only way anything can use energy is if it has a system or mechanism to harness the energy. Otherwise the energy will just destroy everthing, an increase of entropy. And with an increase of entropy evolution would have a hard time. The chances of that happening are huge.

The sun is precisely this source of energy that supplies the Earth.

Actually, just adding energy to something cannot create order. Some evolutionists use the example of adding energy to an unassembled bicycle in a box will assemble the bicycle. This is incorrect. It requires energy + intelligent input to assemble the bicycle. It won't assemble itself! It requires an intelligence to use the proper tools plus the energy provided by their own hands to assemble the bicycle.
Just adding raw energy to something without any intelligent input cannot create order out of disorder.
Don't try this at home, but imagine putting a frog in a blender and turning it on. You now have all the raw ingredients to make a frog. Now place an electrode into the blender and give it all the energy you want. How long will it take before the frog is reassembled? It took intelligence to create the frog in the first place! Only God, who is both energy and intelligence, can resurrect the dead frog.

There is a giant outside source of energy supplying the earth with huge amounts of energy. it's called the sun.

oops, you said anti-evolution types, sorry.

Some people could see that as evidence against evolution... but only the ignorant, the gullible, and those with no grasp of either theory presented.

Read this article to see why it's invalid:

See the Light, I know why your avatar is blond. Look sweetie if you didn't understand the question, don't answer, because you just look like a moron. Look, it is better to keep your mouth shut and let us assume you are an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove it. What an answer.

most certainly so; according to this article, evolution just isn't possible.

however, maybe that "huge amount of energy" was God at work?

who knows? and for that matter, why does it matter? all that we should worry about is the here and now.

we're already on this earth, let's make the most of it! (and stop arguing over petty stuff like evolution vs. creationism)

that law works only in a closed system. Our earth is in an "open system" becuase we recieve energy from the sun, etc.

Don't confuse people with anti-evolution facts.
They believe something can form from nothing.
That a chaotic explosion can form immensely organized universe.
Can a firecracker make a Lamborghini?
I need to try it.
