Always!
And God is a theory that should not be proven! I am not saying that in the sense that He doesn't exist, so we shouldn't prove it. I am saying that in the sense that we all must understand how to get to the point of living a truly Unconditionally Loving Life thru our own faith.
No matter what that Faith is in!

a theory is not a belief, just as a theory is not yet proven. the beleief in a god is thus not equivalent to a theory. nor is a theory the same as a belief.
believing does not demonstrate being proved. and a theory does not equate to a proof, untill all ifnformation has been demonstrated and never shows any variation.
evolution is still only a theory sincxe it hasn't been subjected to all possible situations, but those to which it has been subjected appear to go along with it, but thre a still aspects being questioned.
religion is only a belief because it has not ever been able to provide evidence of proof, just justification. justification does not constitute proof, but it does support an unprovable idea.

I find it interesting that still so much attention is given to this debate. Today, over 90% of people in the world believe in the existence of God or some higher power. Yet, somehow the responsibility is placed on those who believe God does exist to somehow prove that He really does exist. I think it should be the other way around.
The existence of God cannot be proven or disproved. Can we have some other form of questions?

But that is not what a theory is.
A theory is an explanation for an observed phenomenon.

perhaps, but that would also mean that every other religion and belief on this planet (along with the science that already is) is theory.
it's simply something you either accept or don't accept. that's why we have non-believers. & that's why it's called "faith" in God.
believing and trusting in the unseen. =]

This question should be asked in philosophy discussions, very good!
I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in philosophy and find your question to be well thought out.
A rarity on this forum.
I'll take my 2 points and hand it back to you!
