One if indeed she was in heat and he made it to her than yes she is in fact pregnant. 2- have you noticed her eating alot more. Usually they eat twice as normal. Look to see if she starts to hide into an area she will look for a spot if she is pregnant to have the pups aka a safe haven. Also have a vet check her. And one more question how long ago did this happen- Dogs are usally pregnant for about 9 weeks: ( 2 months and a week.) Be sure to go to the vet and have her checked. If you werent really expecting her to have pups at all you can have them aborted. I have heard people doing this sometimes the female dog does it herself, but if you keep her pregnant put her on a purina puppy food diet it gives her more nutrients. Best of luck to you!

It sounds likely that she is. I'd get her down to a vet as soon as possible.

The vet will be able to confirm your suspicions (there are no dog pregnancy tests like human ones, but vets know all the signs) or not, depending. It's really the only way you will know for sure.

The vet will also be able to give you lots of advice on what to do and how to deal with what happens when she starts to have the puppies etc. Maybe get a book on dogs as well which will give you some more advice (if the vet does in fact say she is pregnant).

Good luck with whatever happens!

properly now and again there at the instantaneous are not actual vet information accessible. once you undertake an animal from a take care of or some rescues except they preformed the spay they do hardly have those information. We had a foster cat once that when we picked up from the take care of they advised us she grow to be spayed and her foster papers reported spayed female DSH. not in any respect having experianced cats in season (diverse than canines) when I talked about blood in her clutter field we took her in and suprise not spayed. The take care of paid for her spay and no being pregnant (all adult males were neutered) regardless of the indisputable fact that it occurred. If a take care of gives you papers putting forward an animal is altered maximum individuals would not question it nor ought to they call for information understanding many times shelters do not have information. What occurred to us does take position better than you ought to imagine regardless of the indisputable fact that I also belive that if people pay interest to an animal and performance different altered animals that a neglected spay ought to not grow to be a being pregnant and if it does an emergancy spay is so as. I agree that acquiring a canines from someone warrents data of spay yet again shelters do not continuously have records proving the technique many flow off what they're advised at the same time as an animal is dropped off and at the same time as they ought to verify. Small scaring, scar for yet another proceudre and sheer volume of animals finally ends up in some falling by skill of the cracks.

yup i would excpect some cute little fluff balls headed your way...dont panic all you need to do is lay out a box with a bunch of warm blankets and call the vet....mother dogs will always give birth on their own and clean them and feed them on their own it is natual insinct so you will be okay just make sure she is comfortable and warm for the pups
