CD Burner not correcting burning?

Question

I've been doing it the same way I have always burned cds w/ Windows Media Player. It burns, closes, etc. but it won't play in my car. But my car cd player is able to play the old burnt CDS so it's not my cd player.

It has to be a CD -R not a CD-RW. I had the same problem. Hope this helped... ;)

Possibly it's the quality of the CD. For my car stereo, it works very well with purchased CDs, and great with CD-RWs. I haven't had a lot of luck with the CD-R's that I have used in the past, so I just use CD-RWs from now on.

Can the burn CD play in other player? like will the burned cd play in your computer or other cd player.

It can be possible that the burner might be misaligned. Or it might be a format format issue.
