I want my lab to have puppies. I am not willing to pay over 150 though. Can anyone help. I have tried posting ads and they get flagged down.

you can also try to talk to the stud owners in your area, see if they will take first pick of pups, meaning they get one pup from the litter, and they get first chioce

For a good, quality stud, you will need more than $150, or that plus pick of the litter. Anything less is probably not worthy of your dog, because they owner probably isn't willing to provide all the necessary tests on their stud.

No offense, but asking this question is a red flag that you don't really know what you're getting in to. That's okay - everyone has to start somewhere! :) While it's preferable that you only breed a champion dog, if you're determined to breed, please make sure it is done with all the proper care. The links below should put you on the right path to doing right by your dog, and helping you identify a good stud!

You are NOT going to find an excellent quality Labrador Retriever with $150. No good breeder would let their dog mate with another dog that has not had all the necessary tests done to clear them of genetic health problems. Has your dog been tested for hip AND elbow dysplasia? Has your dog been tested for PRA? If not, you will not find any good dogs. A reputable breeder would NOT ask for stud dogs on YA. A reputable breeder would AKC register their dog(s), test for hip and elbow dysplasia, test for PRA and would only breed a dog that has proved itself worthy in the show ring. Like I said, you will NOT be able to find a worthy dog on YA for $150 or less. Expect to pay up to and OVER $500 for an excellent specimen of the breed - from a REPUTABLE breeder. Which I can assure you, will NOT post their stud on YA or let their genetic health tested, champion dogs mate with your un-tested, ordinary pet.

I know I am not helping by telling you that I have a Labrador stud for $150 but you are just adding to the countless number of un-healthy, un-wanted, homeless dogs in the world. Unless you have tested your dogs for all genetic problems AND your dog has been shown, proving itself worthy of producing a litter, you do not deserve to breed.

Understand that I am not trying to be rude, I'm simply telling you what you SHOULD do before you breed your dog.

Where are you from? I have a Black Lab male, AKC registered. He is large in size, with the broad shoulders and big block head. No fee, just the pick of the litter. My black female lab just had puppies by him, and out of the litter we got 4 blacks, 3 yellows, and 1 chocolate.

South Carolina here.
