Don't freak out... Just relax and be yourself. You talk to him already so it won't be that bad. If it helps, think of things you both have in common. Have a nice chat!!

That's Soo cute! I remember feeling that way and believe me if the guy is your age he probably is feeling the same way unless hes is very outgoing. If he is then he will do a lot of the talking. (which happened to me) Just be yourself and listen to what he is saying and enjoy the conversation. I remember the guy I was talking to was watching a movie on tv so I turned it on too. It was a comedy so we talked about the movie and talked about other things too. We talked for about three hours. We really didn't watch the movie because we both had already seen it so it made it even better. But it makes for a good conversation piece. Have fun and don't worry!

It's alright that your totally freeking out, just remember that he's freeking out also! No matter how confident a guy seems talking to a girl is always scarry! If you have an awkward pause ask him a question. Guys love to talk about themselves cause we are trying to impress you. If he say's something about himself that he seems proud of make sure you sound interested in what he's saying and you'll be fine!

Just act like your talking to one of your friends. From past experience, I've noticed if your conversations on the phone with a guy are awkward and there is nothing really to talk about with this dude then there is really no chemistry there and you probably wont enjoy yourself with this person.

Ask him how he is doing. Let him do most of the talking, do not give alot of details about yourself. Keep some mystery about you and always be the first to say, "Well, I really love talking to you but I have to go." This will keep them calling back. Ask about him and what he likes.
Keep the conversation geared toward him.

Good Luck!!

I have some ice breakers that I've used since I returned to the dating scene recently. Try these...

1) If you could be any cartoon character, who would it be and why? (Mine's Daisy Duck b/c we've both had to put up with our share of quacks.)

2) If you could retire tomorrow, where would you retire to?

3) Favorite guilty pleasure?

4) If you could go back to any point in your own life, where would it be and what would you change?

Don't get nervous-- he's the one calling, so he, according to etiquette, has the responsibility to keep the conversation going. But don't let that keep you from keeping it rolling.
Think about where you know him from-- this should help you find some common interests-- and even if the conversation drops flat, there's more to life than dudes. But you probably already knew that. =)

Just be cool, calm and collected. Let the convo flow. Remember you're the girl let him guide the convo, let him lead it. He's the one probably freaking out. I know I was when I called girls.
You'll be ok.
