Age 52 widowed, and without a female friend. I even went on the the singles sites no luck!!!?

What am I to do? re-write my profile again? Or should I just give it up?? I re-wrote my personal 3 times to improve it, but know one is interested That a Bummer!! Mr Lonely, an sad :(

You won't get anywhere with that crud--you have to hit the town you know? Start hanging out in nicer restaurants, go to laundromats, go shopping all the time--you have to make an effort and not sit back and hope someone finds you--you have to go out and find someone.
Buff yourself up--buy great looking clothes, go to a gym, go get a tan and don't be shy to hit on younger women. There's a lot of them that are looking for an older man.
It's cliche but true--don't be lonely--be alone. And confident.

from someone in your age range, I haven't seen your profile, but that may not have anything to do with it. Are you waiting for women to contact you? Most women on the dating sites prefer to have the gentleman contact first. From experience, please take the time to read her profile and see if you fall into her criteria, if not, you are setting yourself up for heartaches, and wasting your time. Go fishing! cast a wide net, wink at any and all who you find interesting, and see what kind of response you get. But, be the first to show interest. Good luck

perhaps you should try other things then the internet. Find some local singles get togehters in your area for people your age (check your local paper), take a class, or take dancing lessons or something that involves group activities to meet new people. Join a local movie club etc etc..
