hey i was thinking of buying a car from the junk yard i have 200$ on me i want the engine in a fixable condition and the body realy dosnt matter do you think i will get one under 200$$ please help

i didnt mean i was gona drive it it's gona stay at my house me and my big brother and some frainds are gona work on it my brother is 18 now were not gona drive it so any thing under 200

yes, you can buy a car. $200 isnt going to get you much but legally you shouldnt have a problem. under 18 in most states you cant enter into a legal and binding contract, but all your doing is buying a junk car. there's a big difference between that and a regular car. you could also buy a car from an individual if your under 18 as long as they dont try to write up a contract. there would be a gray area when it comes to a purchase order, but your only talking about a $200 car. you shouldnt have a problem.

No one is going to sell you a car at that age, it is illegal. If you get out there and have an acident or hurt someone else, the person who sold you that car will be the one respondible, and that person can be sued or go to jail for that. Wait a little longer and you will be legal age.

I doubt anyone will give you anything - considering the age.... : \ wait at least until you're 16.
