Because this is an open forum. You get ignorant answers from all sorts of people, whether Christians, Muslims, Atheists, etc... Some people just get a kick out of making ignorant comments in answer to all questions.
On the other hand, sometimes a person to whom the question is not directed has an opinion on something and wishes to express it. That is his right. Just don't read it if you don't want to. But you might learn something.

It's like that all over. You ask for an answer from someone who has had a particular experience or been in a particular situation, and doofuses who have no idea what you're talking about jump in with an opinion. It's just the nature of the site, I guess, and the people it attracts (and the allure of racking up points just by typing gibberish).

I see that come from other groups, not just Christians... I see college kids giving answers that fall way short on various topics too. It's a bit of a sad thing because I'm seeing terrible misinformation tossed about... but what can ya do? The best thing is to seek information from reliable sources on one's own.
