It cannot contrubute to moral decline. Anyone who is a good person and happy to be on this earth has good morals and is nice to fellow humans. Religion means nothing......I have met more mean rude gluttanous christians than anything else. Most are just into religion to save themselves because they are bad people and cant think of any better way to make themselves feel better. When it come to cold hard facts, I have to discredit most of the other comments here There is obvouis evidence of evolution. Read a book besides the bible.

just bad understanding of the bible and how scientific discoveries relate to it. Analogies and metaphors and a big-picture guidelines in the bible aren't necessarily meant to be simple explicit facts; and in science, there is a lot that is still just theory, and inferences based on assumptions. "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater !" in both Bible and science ! Take the best of both worlds and don't fret the rest. Don't waste time fighting or enforcing ignorance of either one.

Remember, through the centuries scientists have been excoriated, incarcerated, and put to death because religions believed stating that the earth was not the center of the universe was deadly heresy.

What scientific discoveries have contradicted the Holy Bible?
Only the lies about the origin of man from evolution theory - not fact - have contributed to moral decline. These lies caused people to doubt, because they were presented as truth. Pilt down man, Lucy, the pig tooth evolution, etc.
No one believes the millions and billions of years ago theory and evolution is a dying dog.

No all science is doin is showing you how the word works, it isn't telling you to be immoral... and what is immoral anyway, answer that and then maybe it will help with your answer.
