Dispute it directly with the credit companies, if it's not your the are required to remove it with in 30 days.

You can dispute it, but you might even need a lawyer. If you do take that route, contact me and I may be able to help. You can definetly dispute it through the credit report company though!

Send a return receipt requested letter to the credit reporting company and to the company who claims you owe them. Tell them the report is wrong and give them 30 days to correct the error. If they don't fix the report, file a complaint with your state's Consumer Protection Bureau.

I agree with the second answer, allow them 30 days, keep a copy of the letter that you send to the credit company and send it to the Attorney General

get the judgment number,, call or notify the court,, get the papers, and send them to the agencies,, also call the attorneys involved,, you could be named on a lawsuit and not no it but would still be responsible
