Alcohol won't interact with penicillin, but it will decrease the effectiveness of the antibiotic. You are on antibiotics for a reason, you shouldn't drink.

I was told (by someone who knows) that since you pee more when drinking alcohol, it'll wash away the penicillin before it has a chance to work.
