and another question: if adam and eve were the first humans then we're all their "children" wouldn't everyone be related to each other??

GOD is the god, the supremo of universe.
We still are in the process of describing GOD just like the six blind men described an elephant. Some of us describe as LOVE, some as truth and again some as LIFE.
To understand GOD we need to look with a much wider view.

Being God, he knows everything and can do anything.
Yes we are all related. The reason we are different in color is because at the tower of Babel (meaning confusion) God changed, or confused, the language. After that, I believe, their color and features changed. It didn't happen right away, as time went by they changed. If you still don't understand ask this question again.
