does anyone know how i can turn off, the service liight, I did it before a few times, and then i forgot, i know its on the dash ,but where? it's a lever i have to move to the other side, as i recall,

2 series back side of instrument cluster on the speedo head itself, this can be reached by dropping felt and reaching up.
7/9 series black rubber plug on instrument cluster face remove plug and push button with suitable tool such as a toothpick or unbent paper clip
7 series early production was rear of cluster also but was easier to remove cluster [2 screws] than try to reach behind.
2 series early with cable speedo had a counter box with reset button located under the felt.
