Valentine's day! It'll be romantic. If you ask her this weekend, there is nothing you can do on Valentine's day to top that! Good luCK!

I like the day after Valentine's Day because it will totally be a surprise. Be different, sure you can have dinner or something on Valentines' Day and the day after pop the question. Proposing on Valentine's Day has been done over and over be different!!!!

So many people get engaged on Valentine's Day...girls expect that all the time. I say you surprise her and do something romantic this weekend and have a early Valentine's Day with a wonderful proposal.

You should start dropping hints that your gonna ask her on Valentines day. Get her excited. Then don't ask her on Valentines day. She'll be really crushed but you'll totally make up for it when you ask her the day after. Valentines is soooo over rated. I know a guy who did this to his girlfriend. It turned out really cute.

My fiance asked me on the weekend before Valentines day last year and it was wonderful.

Valentine's Day is too cliche. It's very predictable and its been done. If she hates cheesey things either do it before or after. I don't think that Valentine's day should be used as the day to show someone you that you love them. But despite mine and everyone elses opinions you have to do it when it is right for the both of you.

I'd go for it before. Valentine's Day is a little too cliched-- and she would expect it more.
Plus, after you're engaged (if she says yes...) you can ask her to be your valentine, and ask if maybe that's too much stress, being both your fiancee and valentine. Which is not an insult to you-- just a joke, if you're that kinda dude and she's that kinda girl.

It depends on how you want it to be. Valentines day might be really romantic, but it could seem overrated to you. Plus, like you said, you don't see much of each other on a Wednesday. But since it is only 5 days away, it could be a great idea.

YES, YES, YES, propose this weekend!!!!!! I say this because marriage proposals on Valentine's Day are a baaaaaaaaad idea. BAD superstitions. My husband proposed to me the weekend before Valentine's Day last year and it's something more special to me. We have the 2 days to celebrate. We got married last August and I'm expecting baby this July. We are very happy. So, please ask her to marry you this weekend. Do it in a romantic place, very special to you both! Congrats!!!!
