this is false. capoeira was created in brazil where is was disguised as a type of dance. it they were trying to disguise it, they would never have worn blades on their feet.

false. Capoeira originated from the fighting styles of the African slaves as a tool of defense. Being slaves they were not allowed to carry weapons. However there is a brazillian style of stick fighting a bit similar to escrima but capoeira does not encorporate weapons.

False. Capoeira was designed by African slaves. Since teaching slaves how to fight would probably lead to severe punishment like jailtime or something they disguised it more as a dance than a fighting style.
