Sometimes people do things without thinking about the unintentional consequences. She is your mother and it is OK to love her with all of your heart and still disprove of her actions. Just make sure that you learn from her mistakes. I hope everything works out for you and your family.

I truelly understand where you are coming from. I feel the same way about both of my parents. I grew up in a situation like yours. Except is was both of my parents on drugs, and I was raised by my grandmother. I have felt the anger and frustration you have, and the only thing that I can say to you is, you can't make anybody be who you want them to be. If your mother is still using, than there is nothing you can do about it, she has to feel the need to quit herself. The only thing you can do is pray that one day she'll get better, and try not to think about it too much, cause it will affect you too. Stay strong, and believe in yourself, you can't let the lifestyles of others deter you from what you want to do with yours. Take Care!!

Some of the world's best people have done drugs, many have subsequently developed problems like addiction and disease. Some deal with these problems and get better. Your Mom is your Mom.

i don't think I'd be able to have a relationship with a mother on drugs. drug addicts will usually lie and steal for drugs, so you need to realize that. if it were me I'd tell her you'll be happy to have a relationship with her after she's clean or gone through rehab! there should be a support group for kids of drug abusers, like NA(narcotics anonymous)! you may find more answers there. good luck!

That's a decision only you can make. How do you feel about her right now? If you respect her and want her to be a part of your life, then good. And if you want nothing to do with her that's perfectly acceptable too.

Do you feel respect for her? You need to learn whether she can be trusted by your standerds. If she isn't up to your par, try getting to know her. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Even though she is doing something that isn't legal or morally correct, she is still your mother. Do you have to respect her? I guess that would depend on how she treats/talks to you...

Well, she is your mom and you need to have respect for her as a mother, but hell no, I would not give her any respect as a person. She does not deserve it!
