Whether it's a sin or not, If imagining other people going to hell is how they get their jollies, they are NOT my kind of people. I love the way they pass the buck off on God, though..."Oh, WE don't do it, that's GOD's job". THEIR god's job, and they don't have any problem with it. Maybe it makes them feel all powerful, like they have this big, bad invisible friends who will sort it all out in the end, or maybe they'd just like to believe that. Either way, it's a sick, antisocial philosophy that I can do without.

No one condemns people to hell - it is a personal choice

Matt. 7:1-2
"1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
We are to preach about Hell, but we do NOT have the right to judge that someone's going there. God's will be done, not ours, we do not have the final say. For you to think that you can, is prideful and putting yourself in the judgement seat of Christ, and you will be cast down.

Thank you! I often wonder how Christians justify being "Christian" and they themselves judging and condemning others who are not to hell...sounds so Christ-like.
I am a Mormon.

Yes, God is the only righteous judge. We should share love and mercy onto others, not condemnation. : )

Not if you are catholic - you can go buy an indulgence and then condemn more people to hell.

Yep and that's why i never do it. I CRINGE when I hear that from others. It's just like saying "OK, you can go to heaven!"
Who has the power to do that other than Jesus and The Father himself. No one!
