Ted Haggard Now “Completely Heterosexual”
Phew. Disgraced religious right leader Ted Haggard has officially washed all that gayness off. It’s quite a relief.
Unfortunately for Pastor Ted that’s still not good enough, as his “advisors” are now encouraging him to seek secular work. After all, homosexuality is contagious, isn’t it?
From the Denver Post:
The Rev. Ted Haggard emerged from three weeks of intensive counseling convinced he is “completely heterosexual” and told an oversight board that his sexual contact with men was limited to his accuser.
That is according to one of the disgraced pastor’s overseers, who on Monday revealed new details about where Haggard has been and where he is headed.
The Rev. Tim Ralph of Larkspur also said the four-man oversight board strongly urged Haggard to go into secular work instead of Christian ministry if Haggard and his wife follow through on plans to earn master’s degrees in psychology.

Poor guy. Too bad he can't love himself for who he is instead of having to live a lie to appease the only community he has ever known. Ted, while I doubt I would care much for you as a person, you can join my community and be yourself. We won't judge you for it and you won't go to hell. Just, no paying for sex, k?

Haggard and his minions will say anything to get the tithes coming back to the church.
However, we are not to judge because there is no one among us who is without sin and is willing to cast a stone at Ted Haggard.

I think this is another version of them just trying to "save face".....maybe he's trying to get back into the ministry. For me and my family, we don't want anything to do with him. He knows the truth about God's Word, and these were conscious decisions that he made.....God seen his heart...and brought him down. So just like Jimmy Swaggart, Marvin Gorman, James Bakker, and Ted Haggard....they threw away their ministries........when they used to preach on those same subjects that brought them down. I'm not saying don't forgive them. I am saying that they had their chance......and didn't pass the test.....so time for the next one. We need someone out there to preach the Word, someone who is above reproach......

No. It'll be a choice everyday he has to make to not live the homosexual lifestyle, just like it should have always been.
