I would suggest a few weeks in Spain...Spain has so much to see once you start visiting the cities like Grenada, Seville, Cordoba, Salalanca, Toledo, and Santiago De Compostela...not to mention Barcelona, San Sebastien, and Madrid!

you can travel cheaply by bus around the country (see http://www.busstation.net) and sleep safely and comfortably in Hostels (see http://www.hostelworld.com), where you will meet other travellers also on a budget and have lot's of fun.

Spain is a cheap country, you can get by if you're careful on £20 to £25 a day including food and hostels...and once you're down to your last 4 days money, look for a job in a Hostel for a few weeks to save up some more money for the next trip...you might even save enough to head off to Morroco for a few weeks!

you can check the prices of hostels on the site Hostelworld.com ...

and you can find budget flights to get to Spain on the SkyScanner website...

if not Spain because it's too expensive, then I'd suggest the Fez Bus tour of Turkey (where hostels in Istanbul start at around £6 a night!), then take a break half-way when you get to the tree-houses at Olympos to work for a few weeks, then move on...

Again, you can map out your budget on the sites below!

And don't worry about travelling alone, you will meet so many people in hostels as soon as you reach out to thm that you will never be travelling alone!

Hope this helps

Happy Trails

I am not sure where your starting point is, but if you want to go somewhere overseas, it will cost a few hundred just to get there.

Perhaps try some places in Eastern Europe. I hear that they are still affordable.
