No, it will effect the texture and cohesiveness. You need the cream in its liquid, (not inflated with air) state.

Listen to Chef Mark. I didn't know there was a difference until my roommate was using Whipping cream for something. They are different consistencies and Whipped cream has added ingrediants that will more than likely ruin your recipe.

just go and get whipping cream. Whipped cream is probably sweetend and allready has a lot of air whipped into it, so one cup of whipping cream is a lot more than one cup of whipped cream, since the whipped cream is going to take up more space due to the addition of air, you won't be getting the same amount of cream in the dish, if that makes sense

If you heat the whipped cream it will turn back into a liquid state, you should use a little less sugar then the recipe calls for if the whipped cream was sweetened(try a few secods in the microwave)

The answer is 'NO'. Your recipe is calling for liquid. Substitute with regular milk, or canned milk (not sweetened condensed milk). Use the whipped cream in a can for topping them if you make them sweet (as in strawberry shortcakes or even with jam) but not with savory ones such as herbs in the mixture. Good luck and enjoy. Scones are soooo good, huh?

authentic whipped cream in a aerosol can may likely very last the longest. an extreme priced option may be to purchase a whip cream maker, a metallic canister, with small gas cylinders. You pour in authentic whipping cream, placed on your gas cylinder and presto, you've whipped cream. you should purchase this way of at any kitchen provide shop

No, whipped cream has sugar in it. and the volume and weight wouldn't be the same.

If it's one of the ingredients (not a topping) substitute canned milk for it.
