Swiss Chard is available at most grocery stores when in season. It is an awesome vegetable, we enjoy it fixed the same as Beet Greens, steamed with a little salt and served with bacon bits and vinegar.

Should be able to find it at your local store unless you live in a town of 300. It's big and green and leafy. It's a tough green, you usually cut the center rib out, boil for a bit, then saute in bacon grease and garlic.

It's really good. And a nice southern recipe.

If you are in the UK you can get it. But its seasonal. Nothing special, red stems, green leaves, a bit like spinach.
