You from New York?!? Wow ,with all the women there, IDK why you can't find your type, you gotta be observant, maybe they find interest in you, but you never take their body language into consideration. Eyes, smile, expressions, body movements, etc. That should be your key to progress
Nothing wrong with being nervous, we all do, but thats the whole point...Going up to beautiful women can be a bit intimidating I guess, but it takes practice, you get better and soon, being nervous or scared will neevr haunt you again. Anyone can talk to anyone, but the more you think, the more you will crash and burn. Keep things short and sweet, don't spill your heart out in 5 minutes, you'll scare her off ;)

Women are people. Whatever is making you nervous stop thinking of them as exotic creatures. We are humans. So there is nothing to get nervous about.

JUST KEEP ON TRYING AND THE MORE YOU TRY THE BETTER YOU WILL GET AND WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE EXCEPT REJECTIONS AND SOME LAUGHS BUT A LOTS OF CONFIDENCE AND MORE PRACTICE. YOU WILL GET LUCKY ONE IN 100, AND SOON ITS GOING TO BE 1 IN 50, AND THEN 1 IN 10, AND THEN 1 IN 5 AND SOON A PERFECT SCORE!!

Just walk up to them and say hi. Tell them that you are really shy, but just could not resist not coming up to them. Tell them you don't want to make a further *** of yourself, especially if they might be dating somebody else, give them a little piece of paper with your email or phone number and just ask them to let you know if they'd like to grab some coffee sometime. Smile and walk away. Works really well.

Just ask a few questions about THEM-----people LOVE to talk about themselves.
Throw in a new question here & there, and you're having a conversation! Nothin' to it.
(Compliments work great to get the ball rolling--like "that's a beautiful sweater--where did you get it?" or "That's a nice haircut on you. What salon do you go to?")
