i've heard they can be bad for animals (i.e. dogs & cats as well as fleas!) health as they are toxic x

eta. just looked it up and found this -

"Flea collars are not recommended as they concentrate potent chemicals around the neck but the chemicals do not disperse over the whole animal and are therefore not effective. There is/was an insect growth regulator collar ("egg collar") that is effective in controlling fleas by preventing the eggs from maturing."

suggesting they don't work anyway so probably best to use a different method anyway!
x

convinced Hartz Fleas Collar are risky to cats... I gained't overlook my journey with it very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, I positioned the collar on my cat faster or later, then next day, i had to eliminate the collar and voila there's a purple warm spot the position my cat has sratched himself to bleed and that i had to take him to the vet for a ideal treatment and could not in any respect purchase any flea collars for any puppy now and contained in the destiny, i will turn my nostril up on any hartz products... i'm paying quite a number of interest to Vet's products, they're better possibility-free and those days I even haven't any issues being on Revolution.
