If the tooth is crooked, there is no room for it to be straightened with out making room in your arch, by moving the other teeth. Which means that just extracting it and replacing it with an implant wouldn't fix the problem since there wouldn't be room for the implant either unless it's crooked too. Unless you want a smaller tooth or little peg there to replace it, that would be even more noticeable than the crooked tooth you have right now. What you need to realize is that if one tooth is crooked, your whole mouth or "bite" is probably off. If one tooth needs correcting then in most all cases your mid line and all the molars don't fit together correctly either. I would discuss this with your dentist and see what his thoughts are as to how to correct the problem and retain a perfectly good tooth that's just a bit crooked. Better to do the Ortho and get all of your teeth into correct alignment than to just try to fix one. Ortho will probably be the least expensive also. Good luck and I hope I've help you with this question.

well id think ud rather have ur REAL tooth than a fake one. and unless something is wrong with it other than it being crooked, i doubt they will take it out. so braces seems like ur only option. maybe try invisalign.
