Navy Seals.... they are considered Special Forces, where as Marines in general might be bad asses but are not Special Forces trained.

There is no comparision to which is more difficult. Whether its through training, career path wise, or in general.
Training and boot camp -- Navy SEAL's are harder due in part that the course is almost 18 months long total, and training never stops. Becoming a Navy SEAL is a dream for all sailors and marine soldiers. Actually being one is heaven. Its very very difficult to become a navy SEAL, in part, you have to be a machine to be one literally.
Marine Corps you go through basic training just like everyone else. I believe its 13 weeks or so. Its intense training, but you receive training as all marines have in the past. WIth the Navy SEALS you'll go through training as time goes on.
I've served with Marine Corps Soldiers and they are just under trained than navy SEAL's. They haven't had the intense training SEALs go through, and of course, seals are selected by their Commanding Officers, while marines are voluntarily joined.
