Every year in highschool on Valentines day, the school newspaper would have a few pages where people could buy a 2 inch square and put a note to someone. Every year, I'd open it up and check every square, hoping to find a note for me. But I never found one... I was always lonely, dreaming dreams of love that have yet to be recognized.

It's sad but there aren't any tears. Just because you never had a little 2-inch square that was designated to you, it doesn't mean that no one ever cared about you. Maybe if you would have designated a square to someone, you would have had someone the next year.

I am sorry you never found one in high school, but that doesn't mean you wont have even better in your future. The past can hurt, but that hurt can also bring you so much strength in your future. The dreams you had will just help you be so much more appreciative of the love you will find.

Well, get up and do something. How about you try to find someone you may like, and give that person a note. Love doesn't always come walking up to you.

So are you still in high school or are you out? Sometimes homey, you gotta grab life by the horns and live it! If you see someone you are interested in talk to them, get to know them, if you wait around for someone to come to you...you may be waiting for a long time.

I was in the same situation...so finally in my senior year, I took out an ad just like you are talking about and made it from a "secret admirer"
