why would a guy go get a condom before he hung out with you? is it because he has intentions? or is it to be prepared just in case it happens?

Because he is pretty sure he is going to be getting some, or he is a good boy scout and is always prepared. Does he also carry an umbrella when it is sunny?
That's confidence, apparently you are giving him some pretty strong signals....look at the bright side, at least he wants to wear a condom.....

It might be cold outside and he wants to keep it warm.
Maybe it leaks so he wants to wrap it up in case some embarrassing moment comes up.
But it does sound like he's counting his chickens before they hatch.
He was probably a boy scout "always be prepared"

It is better to have a condom and not need it, than need a condom and not have it.
Sounds like a pretty responsible guy to me.

well since im a guy i always have one just in case something happens, but maybe he jus wants to get some. but at least he practices safe sex, gotta give him that

i would say that there is a anticipation of sex and he wants to be prepared. If you are not comfortable with that u need to tell him that sex is not an option.
