My brother asked this question.. he said put a line through it but that wouldnt be crossing it out, it would mean striking it out...

Use white-out. You won't even see the X anymore.

I would put a line through the center (strike it out) Then i would put another lin going vertically. Then I would have a vertical and horizontal lines going through the x. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

make an x just on the borders of the x to be crossed out with tha different color so you will know the original x from the editing x.

the "editing" pen should be a different color

make the "cross out" X bigger, off center, and mis-angled

make all of the corrections [on all of the paper(s)] the same size, so it doesn't look like you focused on something minor, more than anywhere else

when proofreading, if you cross something out and then decide you wish it to be reinstated, you write STET over the crossing out and it "erases" the crossing out.
