My German Sheppard used to pick off rose hips(?)(those little balls that form before the flower on a rose bush) and spit them on to the ground. And my 10 month old Sheppard female tries to scoop the water out of the drinking bowl with her nose as fast as she can before a male Rottwieler, we are looking after, gets to it. Yes it looks hilarius.

I don't have a dog, but my friend had a dog that when you you tell him to speak, he would bark, but then you if you told him to speak quietly, you'll wake the baby, he would bark with a whisper.

My dog, Lily as of late, has developed the habit of kicking her back legs/scratching them against the ground after going to the bathroom when she's not even CLOSE to where she last went to the bathroom.

We think that our two cats have confused her with their scat covering, scratch dance so she tries to imitate it herself.

She also does the whole "spin like a helicopter, move around" thing when she goes to the bathroom. It makes for an funny scene to watch but an annoyance to pick up.

My Pit Bull is always trying to make friends with my mother's vicious Maltese. She must have missed the ferocious Pit Bull memo and it got sent to my moms dog instead. She has used every act of submission in the book to no avail and it makes her look really pathetic but she never gives up. Her favorite thing is to sneak on the couch while The White Terror is sleeping and wiggle backwards until they touch butts, at this point TWT wakes up and freaks, my pit runs and hides behind me or under my bed looking very happy with herself. My Pit will also sneak up behind her and give a earsplitting bark and runs like hell hoping the white nightmare chases her and she is rarely dissappointed. In what seems like and act of revenge, The Maltese will drag my dog stuffed toys into the middle of the living room, bark in my dogs direction, hump the toy mercilessly, growl and shake it, then hump it again. My dog just looks at me, shocked, like "what the heck is wrong with her?!?!??!". This has be going on for quite some time and if we try to keep them separated, the Maltese will start to look for my dog and scratch at the door to my side of the house to be let upstairs and find her. They are the canine odd couple!

I've got three for you. My old labrador used to escape from our yard (no matter how hard we tried to keep him in). Very regularly, he would return home with a full/wrapped loaf of bread in his mouth stolen from our local bakery. My old Austrlian terrier used to eat fast so our other dogs didn't steal her food. She liked to go into the house while eating to keep her food safe but as soon as she'd head inside, we'd call her outside as we didn't want dog food inside. She would look at us sheepily and one at a time, pieces of dry dog food would fall out of her mouth and she'd have had almost 15 pieces in there trying to carry them al into the house. Lastly, my current Staffy (he's epileptic, a bit slow and does strange things) sometimes sits up like a human with his legs out in front of him. He then tilts his head from side to side and bites the air. The funny part is that his top paw sometimes rests on his you know what while doing this and he looks like he is having a good time pleasing himslef, swinging his head side to side etc.

My female Shepard once took a bacon wraper out of the trash and hid it under my pillow. She also has learned on her own to open the storm door with her nose and goes out when she wants,I wish she'd learn to close it after her self.

My parents have a black lab who has several dog toys. Each of his dog toys has a name (like Lizzie, Pablo, etc.) & he knows their names. If you say to him, "Go get Lizzie," he will bring you the toy named Lizzie. We didn't teach him this, it's just something he started doing when he was younger. It's crazy & it amazes everyone that comes over. He's the greatest. :)
