I tend to believe that there is a more ominous reason because it seems to me that you can always find a place for that but who knows?

No what does that have to do with your sexual feelings towards each other if your girl friend is refusing sex with you for those reasons than she must be really shallow and does not deserve a boyfriend stop having sex with her for those reasons and see how she feels i bet she won't like it tell her to tell you the real reason she doesn't want to be intimate with you because those just sound so foolish and ignorant.
