Braid it or twist it while wet. It works. I've done this method on one of my friends that has a beautiful head of thick long red hair. I sectioned it off in four parts, ear to ear, forhead to nape, and from there I sectioned each one into two, so all in all there were eight. I took each section added mousse and put in double strand twists, let them dry....took them down, perfect waves.

OK, you can do this. After shampoo and conditioning, start with some mousse, spread it evenly through damp hair to give it some texture. Then take a good curling lotion (I like Fekkai Luscious Curls) and apply it to small sections of hair and finger twist them starting at the roots. This way you will get the product on each strand of your hair. Then air-dry or diffuse it at medium/low settings. Finish with a light spritz of hair spray.

Personally, i hate it when people have hair curled from the roots... but if you really want that
take a small bit of hair (however much hair you want in each curl) and twist it around a straightener to the roots, leave for about 10 seconds and slowly unwind repeat untill all of hair is curly

I have natural wavy hair..talk about alot of work keeping it looking nice. or you coulkd do the easy way and a way that you can later say im glad i didnt get my hair wavy. Use curlers..they make the kinds that will do that for you. Thats it just put them in when you go to bed and take them out the next morning. walla. new hair!
