Avoid stimulants like caffeine and nicotine during the evening before you travel. Get yourself a neck support travel pillow and some lavender and camomile spray/oil - I put a little of Avon's aromatherapy spray on my pillow every night and not only does it smell very nice, but I sleep like a baby! A little music on my iPod and/or focussing on my breathing also helps me to drift off. Coach travel is never great for sleep, but try to stick to a normal sleep pattern - reading until 3am will make you feel a) travel sick, and b) like hell in the morning...

I have tried all sorts of herbal sleeping aids...
Of all the ones I tried, the best seemed to be Valerina Night-Time by Medic Herb. You can get it in Boots.
Contains valerian extract, hops extract & lemon balm extract.
Good luck!
