No, but I don't think a large ape type creature could be possible, especially in certain parts of the pacific northwest, it would be very possible for a very small population to exist, and even today, still not have been caught. I've hiked in a lot of areas up there, and many of them are deserted of life for many many miles, and not many hikers go in many isolated areas. There have been hundreds of sightings, but I'm not going to say whether they were all quacks.

In the Texas area I think it would be much less possible.
