Through living a life for God, we impact others around us and grow in our journey with Jesus. Others then see this. As our experiences with Jesus grow our testimonies grow.

If you are asking this as a personal thing, then: my testimony grows as I study God's Word EVERY day to see what to expect from God and then look for this...AND SEE IT happening in my life.
We are told by Jesus to be His WITNESSES. A witness is not a judge, nor a lawyer arguing his case. We are to speak of what we have SEEN of the love, power, and greatness of God in our lives.
The BEST of specifics is the "rest" which we enter as we walk with God. Entering God's rest is very special. It is when you KNOW that God is in charge and that He loves you and willing to hold you in His loving arms.

By constantly feeding it, sharing it, listening to others, and living what you know.
Everybody is different in what works best for them, study, prayer, etc are all good.
A big one for me is doing what I know God wants me to do even when I'm scared, or I can't imagine how that will work, and I just take that little step of faith and doing it anway, and then after taking that little step, I get to see how it all works and everything turns out great.
