My favorites:
Fuleen Seafood, 11 Division Street (lunch prices are great )- portions are big and the shrimp dishes - ummm

Sunrise 27, 27 Division Street, I especially love their fried squid, but all the fish dishes are wonderful

NY Noodletown, 28 1/2 Bowery, small, drab, crowded - the food here is awesome

Shanghai Cuisine, 89 Bayard Street - really good Shanghai food

and three restaurants that are on the same block on the Bowery at Canal Street - I like all three, but I don't remember the names

Wo Hop on Mott St.!!!!!
Always open. Great after a night of partying. Beats the diner crowd hands down. Inexpensive and tasty. My favorite is the 4 D Chow Fun. Yummy!!!

uncertain, yet despite you do, stay away from TGIF. My acquaintances and that i went there considering we've been working short on time. no longer in basic terms did it cost an arm and a leg, however the foodstuff took continually popping out. A burger became $18.

Oriental Pearl (Great DimSum),
Big Wong, (noodle shop and BBQ meats & poultry)
Wo Hop, (been around for ages - can't go wrong)
New Chao Chow (their soup noodles rock, they bite back!)
Paris Sandwich Corp (Vietnamese Sanwiches & Fast Food),
Thais Son (mediocre service - but great Vietnamese food),
Joe's Shanghai (little pricier - MUST try pork & crabmeat soup dumplings)
Yummy Noodle (try the claypot rices)
NY Noodletown (great noodles - I like the congee)

wo hop - no contest, but you can't have a sit down dinner - they throw you out, there's tons of other people waiting, but you just can't beat it!
