i got highlights last monday and its not blonde enough. I wanna go buy a box of dye and make it all blonde myself so that when it grows in alittle i only have to spend a little money. Will this turn out ok for me? can the colors can mix?

i just got off the phone with a salon and they advised me to buy a 20 volumizing developer to put on my hair to take out any of the brown and then put an ash blonde color over it. what do u think?

EEEKKKK!! some of these answers......if you went to a salon last week and they didn't lift your hair light enough...go back and tell them so. Let them fix it. If you did the high lights yourself, you didn't leave the bleach on your hair long enough. DO NOT...go over your whole head with a boxed color. Depending on what color you choose...it could go a funky color over the already lightened hair. My suggestion to you would be either go back to the salon or go over your hair again with another high light kit. This will create high lights with the previously lightened hair looking like low lights. The combination of high lights and low lights in darker hair is very pretty. Only this time leave the bleach on long enough to do the job. You can accomplish this by checking it every so often until it reaches the pale yellow stage. Good luck.

NO! Don't try boxed color if you want to go lighter. Only use box if you want to go darker. My suggestion is put lemon juice in your hair sit out in the sun. It will lighten. If that is not enough try Sun In(it works like lemon juice but it's more expensive).
