I have just been reading about this, they live 2 to 3 years
as a norm, but due to the infamouse Global warming, they
seem to be lasting longer !! actually, wild birds that are
kept in captivity from young, last twice that age !! I do not
know if that is good or bad !!

Until a cat gets them or Magpies raid their nests, or when the weather is like this they starve or freeze to death, poor little things.

not long with my cats. dont get me wrong i like birds but as soon as one of my cats goes in for the kill there aint no stoppin it , then it drags the bird in my house like its never heard of bird flu...damn that kitty
