There are SO many unwanted puppies in shelters right now. You CAN get a spay/abort! call vets and ask, but do it as soon as possible. some people may be morally against taking this step, but considering the amount of dogs put down in the shelters everyday, in my opinion this is the most humane thing to do. puppies are a lot of work and money. the choice is up to you. if you decide against the abort, get that dog spayed as SOON as you can after she has those pups.

Yes, you can abort the puppies birth however that will be killing them all. A dog is only pregnant for two months in length - not nine months. Therefore, the puppies are already in full bodies already - like a human baby in the 5th month of pregnancy. There are some other precautions that you should take into thought. Most good vets will not do an abortion since the puppies are so long ahead. If your vet decides that it is okay - are you really risking your dog into the hands of a vet that doesn't care about the status of the animal? In addition, it is important to note that the spay surgery with the puppies so long ahead will be VERY dangerous for your dog. I won't go into deep detail however if you would like more information I would suggest talking to your vet about the precautions of having this surgery. And finally, would you be able to live with yourself knowing that you allowed an abortion of all these puppies? I'm sure you will make the right choice for yourself however remember they are babies and God's creatures.

The pregnancy can be terminated and she can be spayed. Considering the vast number of homeless pets, termination and prevention seems your best option. If cost is an issue, call your local shelters or vet and inquire about low cost spay/neuter clinics. Personally, I feel the humane termination of an unwanted pregnancy is a whole lot better than some of the potential outcomes for a litter of unplanned puppies. You should act quickly.

You need to take the dog to the vet and make sure she is pregnant. Most vets will terminate the pregnancy and spray the dog. Espicially if it is earlly on. However if the dog is healthy and
the pups of a desirable breed it shouldn't be too hard to find good homes fo rthem.

She cannot be spayed while she's pregnant, unless you want to terminate her pregnancy. You need to get her into the vet to have her checked over and discuss your options.

Not until after she is done nursing the puppies, genius. Do you think maybe you should have thought of this before you turned her loose in heat?
