I was told online that my refund check would be deposit to my account on 2/9/07. When I check this morning it was not in there so, I waited to 4PM and it still was not in. I called my bank to see if it was pending and it was not in there. Has anyone else had this problem. Has anyone recieved thier refund today? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

Please keep in mind that your direct deposit may be transmitted today, but that it's no guarantee that your bank will either GET it today or PROCESS it into your account today.

Simply put, if this is a Federal Income Tax refund, you'll be one of several thousand - perhaps tens of thousands - whose banking information is being relayed by the IRS to the Treasury department, who then electronically directs funds to your account. This electronic transfer will go from the Treasury Department to the Federal Reserve bank for your area, and from there to your bank. The whole process can take 24 to 48 hours, with perhaps longer if a weekend is involved.

Sorry your money is being delayed a bit, but it will be there before too much longer.

Yes, I happened to receive a refund direct deposit today. To tell you the truth I don't rely on receiving the refund on the day they tell me because there's too much that can wrong. I think it's just an estimated date that it will be deposited. Check tomorrow. I hope you don't need the money today.

I've been waiting for my refund since 1/26...

The IRS is delaying 1000's of refunds this year for additional review. They will not tell you this until a week after you were supposed to receive your deposit.

Good luck....it may be a long wait!

Either the IRS has not deposited the money yet or they have your incorrect account and routing number. If even one digit is off, the refund will not go through to your account.

I was suppose to revieve my refund on 1/26 but it still has not been deposited into my account yet. I guess it is when they feel like giving me my money. If I owed them it would be a different story.

It takes about 5-7 business days. Be patient. You will receive your refund soon, unless you gave the wrong bank account number/routing number on your return. You many want to check that information if you don't receive the refund between 5-7 business days.

If you did your taxes with H&R block online the deposit is sent to their bank and they take out their fee and then it takes up to 3 business days to hit your account.

pblcbox is accurate with one clarification. A weekend is ALWAYS involved because the IRS only processes refunds on Fridays.

Once the IRS activiates the transfer, it usually takes a day or two to post to your account. Don't worry, and check back tomorrow!

If IRS did the Direct Deposit to Your Account, you can look on the IRS website to see if it was deposited. They are usually prompt. I
