every chance I get - well sort of. What I do, is do a large trip, once every 2 months or so, then I use the coupons and stock up on everything. Where I shop, they will double the coupons that are 50 cents and less, so I use those there. For the higher amount coupons, since they won't be doubled, I use them at a discount store - like Walmart, where the prices will be a little less. I look at it this way, if you are going to buy the stuff anyway, you might as well use them. I can usually save anywhere from $25 - 50 dollars, so it's worth it to me

Yes, I use coupons all of the time. I get mine mostly from the newspaper ads, the majority come in the Sunday edition. I can only estimate on the most I've saved. I think it might be as much as $10 at one time. Average is more like $3-$5, in mostly $0.50 increments. The secret to saving the most is to find the cheapest per ounce item which the coupon is good for and get that one. Take cereal for example. Box 1 costs $3 for 22 ounces. Box 2 costs $2 for 16 oounces. Which is the better buy? Box 2 at 12.5 cents per ounce, rather than box 1 at 13.6 cents per ounce. The bigger box is not always a better deal. Now add in a 50 cent off coupon, and box 2 gets even better at 9.4 cwnts per ounce. Regardless of having a coupon or not, comparison shop at cost per ounce or other measire and buy the one with the lowest cost per as that one is the best deal. Take a simple calculator with you to the market and calculate the cost per unit measure and find the lowest one. In the example I used, drop the decimal point and use 300 divided by 22 which gives 13.6 as an answer. It is easier to work with numbers like 12 and 13 rather than 0.12 and 0.13.
And lastly, shop sales. A lot of grocery stores have many things on sale that are not always advertised. Shopping for sales and using coupons can save many dollars in a month.

Yes, i use them. Usually the best deals are had when an item is already on sale. Lots of times there are buy one get one free deals and if you use a coupon on the one item you have to buy it can turn out to be an excellent deal. Occassionally you may even be able to get the items for free this way. For an example say paper towels are buy one get one free. The regular price is $1.00 for one roll and you have a coupon for 50 cents off. Some stores will double the coupon and now it's good for $1.00 off. So you do the buy one get one thing and use the coupon and in effect you get two rolls for free. Shop the sale adds and use the coupons.

I have! I make a rediculous game out of how much money I can save. One week I save $15, which is pretty good! The trick is to clip them every week, keep them very organized, and buy things when they are on sale and you have coupons at the same time. For instance, things like TP, paper towells, soap, things you know you'll use. If they're on sale and you have a coupon you'll save a ton that week.

It's truly based on individual need, wants, and supply.

My savings vary based on my need, want, and if supply is available in that certain product. I tend to buy in bulk, so Costco, who does utilizes it's own coupons, has been an effective source for me getting the best products for my dollars. Good Luck and be Safe..(smiles)

I do use them. I've saved $20.00 one time, too. It also helps to have one of those keyring things - you get the store discounts, plus the manufacture coupons as well.
