Yes!!! If you use the eye drops on a dog or cat you can make them go blind! You never want to use any human medicine on an animal. If your dog has red eyes and you are worried what you can do that is better is use a damp washcloth and gently rub the eyes. If it happens more than once though, I would talk to a vet. It could mean something like he is not producing enough tears and etc. You can also call up your vet and ask more information without taking your dog in if you are worried. It is free. Good Luck! Just don't use the stuff on your pets!

Don't use ppl drops on animals its not good for their eyes. Call your vet and ask him what is best. Or if the eyes are irritated and red and you think there is something in them Flush them out with water first and see if it helps. Some of the chemicals in visine or other "get the red out" products can hurt the animals eyes and make them worse not better.

Human eye drops are for human beings not for pets/animals of any kind. If your animals have red eyes they need to go to the vet to find out what the cause is and the vet will give you the correct eye drops/medication for your pet, with the correct information to follow.

many animal medicines are actually people medicines. at the advice of my dr I use saline eye drops (for contact lense wearers) on my cat. a call to the vet is free and if they wont talk to you call a different vet. obviously your dog is not hung over so the reason they eyes are red is important.

It should not hurt them but may not help them either. You need to find out what is causing the eyes to be red. It could be an allergy, an injury, or a medical condition. One of my chis gets corneal ulcers quite often and we have to use special drops in her eyes.

It might. Why would you want to get the red out of your animals eyes? Do not do this.

Probably. Dogs and cats have different medicines than we do. I'd suggest taking your pet to the vet if it has that problem.

i wouldn't do it. does it matter if the animals eyes are red? if they are red for a health reason, infection or something else they need medicated drops.
