they could have easily done it . They dont want to because neither of them cares about the sovereignty of the USA . Both are bought and paid for by bankers and industrialists. And these politicians count on the fact that the people wont do anything about it en masse to threaten their positions of power ( until its too late )

Ok NumNuts ( Sorry couldnt help it) - Taxpayers money for border patrol. Are you kidding me ? Do you know how much taxpayers pay in educating and caring for illegals . We are paying our military and guards anyway.
And as for workplace enforcement , I am suggesting going after the employers . Then you take away the incentive to come in illegally in the first place .

Easily you say?
Okay. I'm all ears. How would you do it?
Real border enforcement? Explain where we're going to get the manpower to patrol the entire border of Mexico. Do you know how many tax dollars that's going to cost?
And you want to put illegal immigrants into prison? Are you insane? As if our prisons aren't full enough, you want MORE government tax dollars to go to feed and maintain a whole new set of prisoners.
Can you post ANY evidence of tax payer money going to support illegal immigrants? Didn't think so.

Well, illegal immigration is a good way to keep labor costs low. Big business interests want people to work for peanuts and the only ones who will are illegal aliens. Now nobody can get a decent job doing physical labor (janitorial, construction, landscaping, agriculture, food service) because corporations usually want to hire the guy who'll work for $5 per hour over someone who'll work for $10 an hour. I hate it when they give the excuse "well, Americans just won't take those jobs". WHY won't they? Because they NEED to make a LIVING wage. Many companies refuse to pay that. However, the illegals often use the social services paid for by taxpayers, not necessarily because they are working the system, but because THEY can't live on peanuts either. So ultimately taxpayers will make up the cost for cheap illegal labor. Really then, there is no real savings that Americans get from hiring illegals.

Yes. They could have. Reagan went so far as to grant amnesty to those already here illegally. His hope, allegedly, was that the immigrants would be grateful and that border security would soon be improved. That was in 1986.
In 1976, there were so few people (outside of L.A.) who'd seen firsthand the havoc and chaos their people wreak that practically no one saw it as a threat.
Only since entire neighborhoods near my home have been taken over by this seedy wave of unlawful sorts have I turned 180 degrees. I never would have thought I'd see what I'm seeing, now.
Since the 1986 amnesty, the population of illegals has DOUBLED here and the population of Mexico and Central America has more than doubled. Now, if we grant "a path to citizenship" we'll have begun a pattern: every 21 years, take on twice as many illiterate, ungrateful, unlawful people (who do a great scam-job of presenting themselves as "hard-working and desperate people" - a myth I, too, once believed), watch as they have 2 to 3 times the number of children as the average U.S. citizen, as their kids join gangs and drop out of junior high, as their 13 y.o. daughters have babies...all this for what? So that when the 21 years is up, they can do it again but with twice the numbers.
Yes, num num, it would be expensive to build a double wall at the border (even a parallel wall/fence w/ dogs between would be pricey), but expensive is better than the collapse of the nation that defeated Japanese Imperialism, Nazi Fascism, Soviet Communism; the nation that led the world out of the Great depression, invented electric lights, motion pictures, audio recording, binary computing, powered flight, manned moon flight; the nation that inherited and ended slavery by the blood of non-slaves...
Every few years, the media get on a kick about how the world hates America. They did it in the late eighties but I went to Asia anyway and was amazed at people's reception. I couldn't buy my own dinner.
That's the real impact the U.S. has had. Losing this nation would be a deathblow to liberties and struggling economies worldwide.
Those in Mexico and Central America who really are suffering and poor, of course they have my sympathy. More than you might expect: If a real possibility to make their economies as strong as ours arises but requires support, I'll be there. Even if it's military support and they need an old guy to fight. I'll be there. Until then?
Build the wall.

At any given time they could have started enforcing laws.......instead they chose to ignore them. "I can't" isn't something that Americans accept. They can and do when they want to. I know with Bush there's just been too many "secret" meetings with Fox and others to get this NAU going. I'm sure there's been some "agreement" that we would ignore all this. Problem is....nobody ever let the American people in on this little agenda. I have a friend in NC and they just got their new ID licenses. It's a silver metalic sort of square that when you rock it back and forth a picture changes. First it's a car and then it's a map of Canada, the US and Mexico. Now tell me this hasn't been in the works for awhile.........

I agree. Reagan made the mistake of granting amnesty to illegals during his term but in so doing he also put laws in place to prevent a repeat occurrence. Since those laws (heavy fines and prison terms for people who hire illegals) were not enforced the problem grew rather than slowing down so in effect Reagan hurt immigration with amnesty. No president since Reagan has attempted to correct the problem of open borders and it will not happen unless the average citizen gets involved and sends letters/ emails to politicians and lets them know that they will be held accountable by their voters.
For the people who think it would be hard to fix the problem think about it this way, They come here for a better life but if you allow them to starve, die in the desert, have no place to live except in the desert, and allow them no medical treatment then life would not be better. They would not come here if they were not being given the basic rights and privileges of a legal citizen or for that matter a citizen criminal who is imprisoned.

Your searching at this kind too idealistically. Hugs and peace and love and style gained't help at the same time as there is not any infrastructure left in well being care, housing, or nutrition and preparation if each body purely receives amnesty. they don't look to be assimilated into our subculture as an finished. I artwork at a well being middle and get used to translate on get jointly because I talk better Spanish than the shopper does English. i'm not fluent yet I discovered at the same time as i grow to be a Police officer because about 10 % of the individuals I dealt with....were not assimilated and didnt talk English. The onus ought to not be on US voters to make each thing tremendous for unlawful extraterrestrial beings. Do you extremely imagine 12 million decide on to be voters or they're only the following for funds and bennies? They deliver as a lot again to Mexico as available for different relatives. The Mexican authorities needs this to proceed becasue that is one among thier best funds earning scams they have. They get to do away with folk at the same time as funds comes into them from tthe US and receives spent there via relatives. If this grow to be a commerce settlement, i ought to wager there's a huge embargo via the U. S. to even this out some. This u . s . a . needs to positioned businessmen in detention middle that employ unlawful AILIENS. Then the freebie source dries up and people flow on again residing house.

There has been problems with the borders since the inception of America.
Our country was founded on immigrants, do we now close the borders? We certainly didn't care about the Native Americans already here.
Actually, solving problems in the United States is not an act a president can do alone. The only act a president can do without congress and the senate is FOREIGN POLICY, which is why every so often a president starts a war... (Which "boosts" our economy.)

Nobody paid attention to what was done until their own jobs started leaving the States! For every illegal alien an employer hires, it's a $1000.00 fine..go to irs.gov and download form 3949A, fill it out make a copy for yourself and send it in certified mail to reward yourself by reporting them. That's how you stop it.
You can also call Mitt Romney and tell him No to Blanket Amnesty at 1-857-288-6400 and go to Numbersusa.com and alipac.com

Its sad to say, but the last President to do anything about illegal
Immigration was Eisenhower. He started Operation Wet Ba**.
When an illegal was caught, he/she was transported to the southern end of Mexico,on a ship then released. the operation worked so well the illegals started leaving on there own.
