It's intriguing. Also probably most are not total atheists (not as in they secretly 'hate God' or something trite, as in no one is completely atheist or theist in my opinion, because we cant KNOW about the existence of God, however much we do or don't believe.) I call myself an atheist if I'm in a religious discussion because I don't consider the normal, personal God. However, that does not stop the concept from being interesting to me.
Sometimes, however, with the right opposition, I am a bit of a Darwins terrier :P grrrr!

Where else do u want them to go? Are u intimidated by their presence? Are u afraid of a question that may shake the foundation of your belief? I'm not an atheist but I'm open minded to anyone who can bring a level of reasoning through logic and most of them have done that.
I guess they're here to help even in their appearance of hindering or attacking and if you are capable of defending your faith then they should not bother u.

They enjoy the discussion. Its an interesting topic. Some are searching for real answers, others are trying to convert Christians to athiesm, others are just trying to put some down, and some just have honest questions about religion.

Simple really. In order to truely gain understanding of the world around you, you must leave your comfort zone. Does the fact that there are so many atheists here frighten you? Are you afraid you just might learn something?

Time to confess: It's all part of an evil Atheist plot. We hang out here, hoping that newbies will post this question, thus losing 5 points.
Oops! Almost forgot to mention that every time this question is asked, we all get $1.
Thanks to you and yours, I have now retired and am living the good life in a sunny tropical location.
THANK YOU!

From what I can tell, this is a page set up to debate both religion and spirituality. Atheism just represents one of many different practices in this realm, only ir represents no belief at all.

I think some people who are atheist are confused about their purpose so they might be here for several reasons... They could be here for learning new things and those new things arent always used for good purposes. Some don't try to start trouble on purpose... they're just truly looking for answers.

I can only speak for myself and I come here because it amuses me to see how stupid some people really are. Not all because there are some intelligent religious people on here but some are just so idiotic and it makes me laugh.
