Go buy the program, or download it if it's freeware/shareware.

If the program does not write any entries in the registry or in any other folders, you can just click-drag the folder to a floppy, flashdrive or CD to copy it.
Most programs, howver write to many folders on the hard drive, making it almost impossible to "copy" it. The program will need to be installed on the next PC from the CD or whereever it originated.
If you mean copy the original CD, you will need a CD copy program, such as Nero or Roxio if the disc is not copy-protected. If it is copy-protected, there are specialized programs available.
Note that it is illegal to copy software to give to someone else, unless the license permits it, but it's not illegal to make a duplicate for yourself if you are the legal owner of the software.

The only way you can do that assuming you're running windows is with the .exe file. unless the .exe file was saved onto your computer when you installed it. or downloaded it. then theres no way. you're have to reinstall it.
for future reference when you download a program off the internet save the .exe file when your computer promts you to save as or open with. . .it only takes up a few kbs and is usfull if you want to make a cd copy of that program. or in your case reinstall it on a fresh os

You need the install.exe file and all the data packs to install a program on another drive. The only other way is to install the OS on another hd, and have the old hd with the program as a second hard drive.
